Design

We offer a full design and project coordination service. We will help you to plan, design and construct your ideal garden. Our process begins with a meeting in your garden to discuss what you are envisioning for your garden space.

This includes:

·       Discussing how you would like to use your garden (e.g. grow vegetables, kids play area, relaxing space to host friends).

·       Plants/trees that you would like to introduce.

·       Plants/trees currently in your garden that you like or dislike.

·       Any challenges that you currently face such as poor layout, shade, damp areas.

·       Estimating how much garden maintenance you would be comfortable with for yourself or a hired professional.

·       Discussing any gardens or styles in particular that inspire you or you would like to emulate.

·       Discussing what your estimated budget for the project is.

STEP 2:

Following the initial meeting a conceptual garden design with accompanying garden images and mood boards will be provided. This stage provides you with a proposed plan for the new garden to help you visualize the site. It allows you to view and comment on the proposals which will give you an input into the final design outcome.

INSTALLATION:

Highfield provides a full softscape installation service. We will source the high quality plants and expertly install according to the agreed design plans.

CONSTRUCTION:

Much like building a house, building a large scale landscape project requires multiple trades. To maintain efficiency and produce top quality work, Highfield works hand in hand with some of Vancouvers most talented trade-specific contractors. If any garden construction is required, such as hardscape, paths, walls, fencing, lighting and irrigation, we will organize the work to be carried out by the various trades or an experienced landscape construction company.
